Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Bangkok 

Arrive Suvarnabhumi Bangkok airport, you are met and transferred to your hotel, check in and free at leisure.
The tour guide represented for HIT Vietnam tour invites you for a welcome dinner of delicious Thai cuisine in a local restaurant. The first night is free your own exploration of the travel hub of South East Asia mainland..

Day 02: Bangkok – Grand Palace & City Temple Tour

Breakfast at hotel and then sightseeing tour visit to Wat Traimit, the Temple of the Golden Buddha, the temple is famous for its 900-years old five-and-a-half-ton solid gold image, and then continue to visit Wat Po, the largest and oldest temple in Bangkok, as well as the largest single Buddha image: also known as Wat Phra Chetuphon or The Temple of the Reclining Buddha or the birthplace of traditional Thai massages Reclining Buddha. Lunch is at a local restaurant with our guide help (expense on your own). 
After that, visit one of most famous tourist places in Bangkok, Royal Grand Palace, and Emerald Buddha. The Grand Palace adjoins Wat Phra Kaew in a common compound and is where you will end up after exiting Wat Phra Kaew. Despite the proximity of the two, there's a distinct contrast in style between the very Thai Wat Phra Kaew and the more European inspired designs of the Grand Palace (the roof being the exception). And then drive to visit The Marble Temple one of the most Modern Temple as the finest example of Thai Architecture.

Day 03: Bangkok – Ayutthaya - Sukhothai

After your breakfast, we will start our journey to the north of Thailand. 
Via Ayutthaya we head to Phisunulok where we will also stay in the hotel for the next 1 night. On the way to Phisanulok our first stop will be in Ayutthaya. Ayutthaya is the former capital of Thailand. Visit one of the most beautiful Summer Palace namely Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. Later on, embark to Temple of Ruins, Wat Phra Sri Sanpetch (The former Royal Temple), Wat Yai Chai Mongkol (the temple of reclining Buddha Image and biggest chedi), Wat Mahathat (where the head of Lord Buddha Image is covered by Poh Tree so far), Wat Ratchaburana (where the national treasure were kept), transfer to Krung Sri River for buffet Lunch. Later After all these we continue to Phisanulok visit to beautiful Lord Buddha Image namely Phra Sri Rattana Sasadaram or Phra Buddha Chinaraja and transfer to Sukhothai. Check-in at hotel and free at your own leisure..

Day 04: Sukhothai - Lampang

After breakfast, visit to Embark to Sukhothai Historical Park or the 1st Capital of Thailand. Found in the 13th century, Sukhothai (literally means Dawn of Happiness) was the first truly independent Thai Kingdom, which enjoyed a golden age under King Ramkhamhaeng, credited with creating the Thai alphabet. The superb temples and monuments of this great city have been lovingly restored in Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-see for all travelers. And visit to Sri Satchanalai Historical Park is located on the bank of the Yom River at Tambon Muang Kao, Si Satchanalai County, only 55 km. from the town of Sukhothai. The ancient town, formerly call "Muang Chaliang", was named "Si Satchanalai" during the Phra Ruang Dynasty when a new administrative center was established to replace Chaliang. This ancient town occupied more than 320 hectares (800 acres) of land. Of this, the 91- hectare (288 acres) area within the old laterite ramparts and the city moat is the focus of sightseeing in the historical park. After that proceed to Lampang province. Check-in at hotel and free at your own leisure.

Day 05: Lampang – Chiang Rai

After breakfast, we will take a horse carriage ride to sightseeing around the city. After all these exciting spots we continue the journey straight to Chiang Rai visit the Akha and Yao hill tribe villages. Check-in at hotel and free at your own leisure.

Day 06: Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai. 

After breakfast, we will the ancient city, Chiang Saen. Then carry on where the tree country borders meet which is called “Golden Triangle”. And visit to Mae Sai, the Thailand, and Myanmar border city. After that Visit Wat Rong Khun “The White Temple” of Chiang Rai is one of the most recognizable temples in Thailand. The temple outside the town of Chiang Rai attracts a large number of visitors, both Thai and foreign, making it one of Chiang Rai’s most visited attractions. Wat Rong Khun is a unique temple that stands out through the white color and the use of pieces of glass in the plaster, sparkling in the sun. The white color signifies the purity of the Buddha, while the glass symbolizes the Buddha’s wisdom and the Dhamma, the Buddhist teachings. The Wat Rong Khun was designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat, a famous Thai visual artist. To date the temple is not finished. Eventually there will be nine buildings including an ubosot, a hall to enshrine Buddhist relics, a meditation hall, the monks living quarters and an art gallery. And Visit hot spring on the way back to Chiang Mai. Free time for dinner at a local restaurant – our tour guide will help you to find a good one and transfer back to the hotel and free at leisure.

Day 07: Chiang Mai – Fly to Mandalay (Myanmar)  

Breakfast at the hotel and free at leisure until the time transfer to the Airport for your ongoing flight to the newly opened country of South East Asia – Myanmar. Our arrival airport today is the ancient capital of the country – Mandalay.
Arrive in Mandalay, our Myanmar tour guide will greet you at the airport then depending on the arrival time, we will head straight to the Royal Mandalay Palace vestiges and relics including Imperial Palace, Golden Palace Monastery, and Kuthodaw Pagoda also known as the world biggest book. The highlight of this day is the panoramic sunset from the peak of Mandalay Hill. Enjoy a dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 08: Mandalay - Amarapura – Mingun

Today we will transfer to Inwa to visit this ancient capital by horse cart. A visit to Maha Aungmye Bonzan, Gabaya Monastery, Leaning Nam Myint Tower and the nearby attractions. We will continue to Amarapura is where you can find the finest silk-wearing product and wood-carving masterpiece. Take your time to enjoy a walk over U Bein Bridge, the longest teak wood bridge in Myanmar. 
During the time, we will visit the gold leave making workshop, stone carving workshop to admire the skill of the local Burmese. After lunch, we will take a boat ride and visit MINGUN Pagoda Complex to see the unfinished pagoda, the Mingun Bell, weighing 90 tons and the biggest hanging undamaged bell in the world and the "Home For The Aged". Back to Mandalay to have dinner (your own account) and rest.

Day 09: Mandalay – Bagan – Sunset at ShweSanDaw Temple 

We will start early today by car to Bagan. Lunch on the way. During the transfer, you will have a chance to explore the villages and beautiful views of scenery farm. Reach Bagan in the afternoon and transfer to hotel for rest after we start exploring the city. We will visit the Shwesandaw temple for the panorama of Bagan land. This is the awesome chance for photography.
We are back to the hotel when the dark is down. Free time for dinner and relax

Day 10: Bagan Heritage Life

Today will spend a full day to visit the land of more than 2,000 temples and stupas. Drive to the small village of Wetkyi-in to see the wonderful Kubyaukgyi Temple, renowned for its ancient murals. Our excursion also includes the Htilominlo Temple, which houses four Buddha figures on the ground floor and four more on the first floor. We will visit Ananda Temple to admire this masterpiece of Bagan. This original temple was built with the Indian architecture art, spend your time to study the 3-D Buddha which was respected by the Burmese and Oak-Kyaung monastery decorated with multi color mural paintings. 
After lunch, we will head back to the vibrant Nyaung Oo Market, the economic center of Bagan. At this bustling market, locals meet daily to buy and sell a variety of goods, from fruit and vegetables to clothing, china, and lacquerware. Continue to the gold-plated Shwezigon Pagoda, Bagan’s greatest reliquary, built to house relics of the Buddha brought from abroad. Highlights of the day are the sunset from the highest temple of Bagan – the Shwezigon.

Day 11: Bagan – Flight to Yangon - city tour

Take a flight this morning and back to Yangon, enjoy your orientation tour of Yangon with a walk from Sule pagoda to Strand Hotel where you will encounter numerous of British colonial buildings and Emmanual Church. You will have chances to observe the local life on Yangon river side. We will visit Chautatkhgyi pagoda, famed for the biggest reclining Buddha statue in Myanmar, followed by a pleasant walk in the royal place where you will admire Karaweik Palace and the green park of Kandawgyi. After lunch you can do some shopping at Scott market, the biggest market in Myanmar, being famous for its gems, jewelry, handicrafts....
Late afternoon, visit the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda of Rudyard Kipling fame and one of Myanmar's most sacred places. The massive bell-shaped stupa is plated with gold and the tip of the stupa is set with diamonds and rubies, sapphires and topaz - a stunning sight as the sun sets and a most fitting place to begin our trip in this "Golden Land". The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Day 12: Yangon – Fly to Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon – Vietnam)

We will have free time today until your onward international flight to the busiest city in South Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh city (also known as Sai gon).
The flight is mostly in afternoon and takes about 1,5 hours then we will arrive at the airport. Check in the hotel and relax. We will take a very special tour tonight to get acquainted with the city – Sai Gon by night tour on Scooter.
06.00PM this tour, a joined group tour, starts and it’s very special when you are a pillion on a scooter driven by good-at-English, knowledgeable and lovely young ladies. This is definitely the most highlight of this day. The tour ends around 09.00PM.
Interesting notes to know in advance - All scooter drivers are female and they will wear "Ao Dai" - Vietnamese traditional dresses. They are good at English and will be your tour guide too for this 3 hours.

Day 13: Impression of Mekong Delta 

A tour to South Vietnam can never be completed without a short trip to Mekong Delta. And today, we take you to discover the biggest rice bowl of Vietnam with a short drive to Southward. Then we will transfer into a small boat, the most popular transportation of locals here and this is the best way to access to small canals, garden houses, orchards which are all located along streams. We will stop and visit a local house to have chat-chit with warm hosts and free to taste the freshest fruits picked right from their trees. 
Before back to Saigon, an easy bike is set up for your fun experience while getting quiet, peaceful surrounding villages.
We drive back to Saigon in the afternoon. This is free time for your own schedule while we suggest you should do shopping at Ben Thanh market where you may meet a thousand type of fruits again which are collected from those orchards we had visited now ready for trading. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 14: Saigon city tour – fly to Phu Quoc island 

This morning, we spend some time for historical sites in town with Reunification Palace - the symbol of our country reunification and independence, War Remnant Museum, where displays the evidence of the Vietnamese wartime. You may want to travel nearby for some colonial buildings such as North Dame Cathedral and Post office before going back to the hotel and pack your things back.
After enjoying your own lunch, we transfer to airport for short flight to the most beautiful beach island of Vietnam, Phu Quoc. Checking in your hotel and heading out to the sunshine beach with white sand and silver waves. Order a cocktail or coconut, lying on the beach and here you are...in a tropical paradise!

Day 15-16: Phu Quoc beach free stay

Phu Quoc is the biggest island in Vietnam and at the south furthermost point. Phu Quoc owns the best beaches of Vietnam and possibly over the world that are very quiet, crystal clear and sunshine all year round. We leave these two days at your leisure to enjoy the stunning nature and relax.

Day 17: Phu Quoc – Ha Tien border crossing to Kep (Cambodia)

Free in the morning until we take the speed boat trip to Ha Tien for border crossing. You will farewell Vietnam here and being welcome by our Cambodian guide. After finishing with procedures, we enter the land of Angkor and transfer to Kep (Cambodia) for an overnight. The transfer takes about 50 minutes and Kep is a quiet, lovely town with small dotted beaches.

Day 18: Kep – transfer to Phnom Penh

Breakfast at the hotel, this morning we head to the capital of Cambodia – Phnom Penh after 3.5 hours drive.
Upon arrival the city, our guide will take you for a short city tour featuring the best sites in town including National Museum, over 5000 objects are on display such as Angkorian era statues, lingas, and other artifacts. Then visit Royal Palace is a royal residence now where His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal families live. If the time permits, we will take Silver Pagoda, serves less as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as 90 kg golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds, and Wat Phnom Temple, one of the most important pagodas in Phnom Penh, into our schedule.

Day 19: Phnom Penh city tour

Enjoy your first breakfast at the hotel in Phnom Penh. Meet our guide and take a river trip to visit Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison). This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Then drive to the “Killing Fields” of Choeng Ek (15 km south of Phnom Penh). Between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women, children and infants (including nine westerners) were detained and tortured at the S-21 prison and transported to the extermination camp of Choeng Ek.
Visit Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market), the Market has gained the reputation for cheap clothing, a large selection of Buddha images and woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classic music instrument. Enjoy Sunset Cruise on the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers in Phnom Penh, it bursts into 4 branches.

Day 20: Phnom Penh – Fly to Siem Reap

The tour guide and driver are at your disposal until transfer to airport and get ready for your onward flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia - the last world heritage in this tour.
Welcome by our tour guide and driver based in Siem Reap Town for transfer to your hotel for check-in.
If the time permits, we visit Preah Khan is one of the largest complexes at Angkor, was built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century. Sister temple to Ta Prohm and then we continue to Neak Pean temple, it has a large square pool surrounded by four smaller square pools.

Day 21: Siem Reap - Angkor Tour 

This morning, we visit Ta Prohm, was a Buddhist temple dedicated to the mother of Jayavarman VII. It is one of the few temples in the Angkor region where an inscription provides information about the temple’s dependents and inhabitants, continue to visit Takeo, built by Jayavarman V, it was dedicated to Shiva and was the first Angkorian monument built entirely of sandstone.
We journey to the Mother of all temples, Angkor Wat. Built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II, this is the most famous temple at Angkor.
In the afternoon, visit Angkor Thom, built by King Jayavarman VII. Following the occupation of Angkor by the Chams from 1177 to 1181, the new king decided to build an impregnable fortress at the heart of his empire, visit Terrace of the Leper King, Terrace of Elephants, Baphuon, and Bayon temples.
Enjoy the sunset from Phnom Bakheng. We are delighted to invite you a farewell dinner in a fine restaurant at Siem Reap for your last day of this tour.
