Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Hanoi arrival 

Xin Chao! Welcome to the elegant city of Hanoi!
HIT Vietnam tour local guide sends our warmest welcome at the airport and help you transfer to downtown. While briefing some essential information of our incoming tour, you may have some very first impression of our capital city.
Depending on your arrival time, we manage some hours for your first Vietnam experience with a visit to the famed Ancient Streets where you will find unique street vendors, busy traditional workshops, and holy temples. Continue your discovery with water puppet show, inspired by Red River Delta peasants. A welcome dinner is invited by us to give you some idea of Vietnamese food and cuisine.

Day 02: Hanoi city tour 

Wake up in morning following with a delicious breakfast and fragrant coffee, you will have chance to see a charming, quiet Hanoi before it waking up and turning into a busy city
Spend your day exploring the top intriguing attractions of an insight Hanoi. Start up with Temple of literature provides you a vivid knowledge of old Vietnam intellectual life. After that, we head to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum to visit his house, the garden, and relics which reflects how the humble and simple life of our greatest President.
This afternoon is to visit the most beautiful museum of Hanoi - Ethnology Museum before back to the town for easy walking at Sword Lake and visit Ngoc Son temple. Before concluding this interesting city tour, we take a cyclo tour to leisurely ride around Ancient Quarter where you are free to decide your dinner.

Day 03: Hanoi – Halong Bay 

After breakfast, we travel out of Hanoi city to the famed Halong Bay. The drive takes you 3.5 hours sharply to get arrival to the port. We board on the traditional junk with a warm welcome of the crew. Check in your cabin then back to the cruise's fine restaurant for delicious lunch. After lunch, you will find the junk to set sail to the most beautiful parts of the bay. Spend your time to behold the stunning oceanic landscapes. 
This afternoon, we will visit one of the biggest caves in the bay which is linked with the legend of Dragon and the bay. Unwind on your deck to behold the sunset. Day 04: Halong Bay - Hanoi flying to Hoi an

An active morning with Tai chi class on the sundeck or just leisurely laying on the chairs to enjoy the sunrise over islets. Followed by the breakfast, you will paddle to hidden, awesome caves and visiting a floating market. Sailing back to dock while brunch is serving.
Check out the junk while our driver awaits you for transfer directly to the airport for fly to the youngest city of Vietnam, Danang.
You arrive in Danang when the dark covers. You can take a taxi to Hoi An that is about 30km away. Check in the hotel and overnight.

Day 05: Hoian city and river tour 

Get acquaintance to the town by a walking to the best sites including Phuc Kien pagoda, an ancient house and the iconic symbol of the town - Japanese bridge. You may want to try excellent services of tailor shops here before getting lunch. 
In the afternoon, around 3.00PM we will drive to boat pier to board a traditional boat for a sunset cruise on Thu Bon river. You may encounter fishermen catching fishes with traditional nets. You can ask them for a try which is really fun or just enjoy cool cocktails on the boat. The moments of sunset covers the sparkling river with a lovely house on the banks lit up their balcony with lanterns are the most beautiful sights of this tour.

Day 06: Hoian – fly to Saigon

Morning in charming Hoian, we wake up early and enjoy this romantic morning at the town of history. Then we leave Hoian for Saigon (Ho Chi Minh city) by a short flight – approx. 1.5 hour. 
Arrive in the most modern city in Vietnam, you will be taken to the best highlights of Saigon with Independent Palace, War Remnants Museum, Post Office, North Dame Cathedral and some free time at one of its bustling markets. The rest of the day is free at your own management while we suggest you should walk around to try street food of Saigon.

Day 07: Cu chi tour by Speed boat 

Cu chi shows a very important part of Vietnam history. Leaving all right or wrong aspect of painful history, we visit this place to admire incredible survival power of humanity. Today, we will discover this tunnel by a very different way. We will take a joined speed boat ride on one of the tributes to Mekong River. The tour guide collects you from your hotel at around 07.30PM, we board on the boat with other passengers for about 1-hour ride. On the way, you will have some quick chances to see local people on the banks making their living.
Your visit to Cu Chi can take place from 2-4 hours depending on your war interests. You even can get down to the deepest level of the system to admire how incredibly a whole village made their survival during wartime. Have lunch at local restaurant then we ride speed boat back to Saigon. Arrive in Saigon in mid-afternoon and you have free time for your own schedule

Day 8: Mekong Delta excursion 

Breakfast at hotel, we drive down deeply into Mekong Delta to explore its unique water lifestyle. Take a sampan ride to sail along downstream of Mekong River to visit a local garden house, orchids, and farms in My Tho. You will visit a local house, have chat-chit wit the host and taste fresh fruit right in the garden.
After your lunch, we set up some bikes for your easy riding to explore neighbor gardens and houses. We drive back to Saigon in the afternoon and spend our time at one of a market in Saigon where you will find Mekong fruits are transferred and traded at big local markets.

Day 09: Saigon - fly to Phnom Penh (Cambodia)

The tour guide and driver are at your disposal until transfer to airport and get ready for your onward flight to Phnom Penh.
Meet upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport and transfer to the hotel.
Visit National Museum, over 5000 objects are on display including Angkorian era statues, lingas, and other artifacts. Then visit Royal Palace is a royal residence now where His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal families live. it is like a small town of royal dynasties. Continue to Silver Pagoda, serves less as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as 90 kg golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds. Finally, visit Wat Phnom Temple is one of the most important pagodas in Phnom Penh. Built in 1373 on an artificial hill by the wealthy widow Daun Chi Penh.

Day 10: Phnom Penh city tour

Enjoy your first breakfast at the hotel in Phnom Penh. Meet our guide and take a river trip to visit Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison). This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Then drive to the “Killing Fields” of Choeng Ek (15 km south of Phnom Penh). Between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women, children and infants (including nine westerners) were detained and tortured at the S-21 prison and transported to the extermination camp of Choeng Ek.
Visit Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market), the Market has gained the reputation for cheap clothing, a large selection of Buddha images and woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classic music instrument. Enjoy Sunset Cruise on the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers in Phnom Penh, it bursts into 4 branches.

Day 11: Phnom Penh – Kampong Thom - Siem Reap

Breakfast at local restaurant. Depart for Kampong Thom province and make a half way brief stop at Skun village for photography of local deep fried spiders then continue to visit Sambor Prei Kuk. It is a former capital and was previously named Ey San Borak, built during the reign of King Isanavarman I in the 7th century.
Lunch at local restaurant. Continue journey to Siem Reap, en-route stop at Naga Bridge (Spean Prabthes) was built by King Jayavarman VII at the 12th century by laterite stone.

Day 12: Siem Reap

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, then visit Ta Prohm, surrounded by jungle.
Visit Angkor Wat, the largest temples in the world and covers an area of 200 hectares and surrounded by a moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300 meters x 1500 meters.

Day 13: Siem Reap 

Today, we will visit Banteay Srei, constructed in the late 10th century by a Brahmin counselor under a power king Rajendarvarman. It was loosely translated to the citadel of the woman, but it is a modern appellation that probably refers to the delicate beauty of the carvings. En-route stop at Pre Rub (turn the body), was constructed in late 10th century dedicated to Hindu gods. This reflects the common belief among Cambodians that funerals were conducted at the temple.
Visit Preah Khan temple, built by King Jayavarman VII dedicated to his father. It is a huge, highly exportable monastic complex, and served as a Buddhist monastery and school, engaging over 1000 monks. Continue to Neak Pean, a small island temple located in the middle of the last Baray, constructed by a Khmer king in the Angkor area.

Day 14: Siem Reap Departure

Breakfast at hotel. Free at the " Old market" to understand about the local life and get back to your hotel in time for a transfer to airport for flight to the next destination.
